Warning: upsetting details. Further details about the murder of three girls have been revealed as the search for the suspect, Travis Decker, is almost at three months
Authorities have been on the hunt for Travis Decker, the man suspected of killing his three daughters, for almost three months, as new shocking details about the crime have emerged.
Officials have released new evidence and details about the crime scene that they believe make Travis Decker the main suspect in the case of murdering his three daughters: 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker.
The three girls were found deceased close to the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington, on June 2 after leaving home on a planned visit with their father, police said.
Court documents detail that in June, each girl was found with a plastic bag over her head with their wrists zip-tied, ABC News reported. A press release on Monday provided further details about how the girls were found.
“Two of the victims each had two separate bags over their heads, and the third victim had three separate bags over their head,” officials stated.
Additionally, several cable ties were located on the ground in the immediate area of the bodies.
Officials added that authorities submitted the evidence to the Washington State Crime Lab for DNA analysis.
The crime lab report on August 6 confirmed that DNA profiles matching Travis Decker were found on the plastic bags” and on the cable ties, meaning Decker is the sole suspect in the case.

“The completion of this DNA analysis provides additional evidence that indicates Travis Decker is the only suspect involved in committing these homicides,” officials added.
DNA from the three daughters also matched what was found on the plastic bags, officials added.
A week after the girls were killed, an autopsy revealed the girls died from suffocation, the sheriffs office stated.
In July, authorities said that the blood handprints located on Deckers car, which was found near the girls bodies, matched the fathers DNA profile.
The sheriffs office also confirmed on Monday that they still dont know where Decker is and do not have any evidence to suggest Travis Decker is either alive or deceased.”
A never-before-seen 20-minute video emerged in July showing Travis Decker interacting with police just days before he allegedly killed his three young daughters.
The body camera footage captured Decker conversing with cops in a supermarket parking lot after rear-ending another car.
